Happy Canada Day!
Today we celebrate the country we call home, while remembering and acknowledging the dark sides of our history. We are reflecting on how we can do better and what direct actions we can take with our own privilege.
On a less serious side, we are also at the lake with our family enjoying the weather, delicious food, and lots of drinks. My brother is preparing a feast with a dish from every province and territory in Canada, so we decided to do the same with drinks. We collected booze from across the country (with a bit of fudging when we had to). Curating this list was surprisingly hard to do as alcohol often passes easier from the USA to Canada than it does within Canada; our choices were very limited with some places.
